Hey everyone I was wondering if someone can help me,

I have an MSI Cyborg 15 A12V gaming laptop and I’ve only owned it for just over a month and I’ve been having an issue when gaming, randomly my games will freeze for around 5 seconds or longer and occasionally if they freeze for longer I get disconnected from the current match in playing but the game itself won’t crash, it’s as if I have just left the game.

I’ve deleted my temporary files, all my drivers are updated, windows is updated.

I’m not sure what else to do, any help would be appreciated as I’m completely lost.

open your laptop and check that all components are securely installed

#

how are the temperatures?

#

any other issue outside of gaming?

Make sure Windows Game Mode is enabled.
Close unnecessary programs when gaming.
I like to restart my PC before playing any CPU intensive games.
Play on a wired connection if possible.

#

Consider restarting your network devices - router, modem, wireless router.

#

Give the suggestions in that article a try.

#

Check your malware protection/ anti-virus programs for a "game mode" or settings that help with gaming.

#

Check Intel's website for updates.

Also, monitor your temps. If you have MSI Center, adjust settings there for gaming.

#

Be mindful of your in-game settings and limitations of your laptop hardware.

However, as hardware ages, some manufacturers may not have the latest updates from Intel and others on support pages.

#

Is this happening in all your games?

#

Have you tried verifying your game files?

#

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

#

Have you tried playing on a wired connection?

#

I have you tried Windows Troubleshooter?

#

Maybe you need to reset your network adapter.

#

Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooters > Network adapter

#

You coud try running SFC tool in Powershell

so is it just network lag?

#

what about offline games?

#

have you tried using a direct ethernet cable connection to your router?

I can’t use I wired connection sadly otherwise I would use that, maybe it is a Wi-Fi issue as my game doesn’t crash, it acts like I’ve been disconnected from the match

I have this problem with a katana 17, I check and everything is well connected and everything is updated and when I check temperatures they do not exceed 50° C,... so hardware problems is not... any solution?
