What board is that?
Msi z170a
Is there a possibility its from psu
Because the power button's light is not working
I checked power entries to that power button and it was plugged
what gpu do you have?
also
what do the numbers say at the bottom right of the board?
Radeon r9 380
what does the number readout say at the bottom right of the board?
There is not number
Ok, what is the full model number of your board
Well, i would check the voltages on the 12v rail, considering the age of the platform, reseating the cpu may help
Tried but not working
You have your ram in the wrong slots. You need to put em in slots 2-4 or 1-3
Unless this is a mobo where the ones besides eachother are paired
Also, are you using ram sticks that didn't come together in a kit?
The cpu light is working not the dram
There is no problem at dram
The redlight is at cpu
Well it could be the cpu controller having issues with the way the ram is set up
the light being on cpu or ram is often irrelevant because either can be on with issues on the opposite thing
usually when i see broken ram the cpu light is on instead of the ram one
ram position became much more cruical on later boards with faster memory. as you want to make sure each channel that has memory in it is terminated properly
If you have checked the voltages on the psu
i would look into reseating the cpu
if its been in there for as long as i expect, repeated heating and cooling cycles could have caused a minor misalignment
