same
Is there another option for 1440p if you scroll up?
Ultra wide 1440p is pushing it for a 1650 laptop. Seeing as the button to customize the resolution is greyed out, you maybe be at your systems limits
in the nvidia i can use the customize button tho
Oh, try making a custom resolution then
starting from 68hz monitor stays blacked out
this the highest I can go without staying off
Did the cable that came with the monitor say it was HDMI 2.0 or 2.1?
no idea tbh, tried looking but didn't find info about it
Hmm well I doubt they'd give you one that couldn't handle it. Are you using it now?
yes
Yeah i would think the same
ill try changing from hdmi 1 to 2 because on the monitor it says this:
hdmi 1 port = HDMI 1.4
hdmi 2 port = HMDI 2.0
You're using a freesync monitor with an nvidia GPU, so maybe it's something with freesync.
Go into your nvidia control panel again and look for gsync options. Turn it off if anything is enabled
Oh
Well then there you go
I guess one HDMI port isn't as strong as the other on your laptop
changed not on the laptop but on the monitor itself
Ohhh, I see
Thanks anyways!!
