Most of the time I'm replying it's to provide info on things where people have stated factually incorrect things or because there is information missing from the picture being presented and so I will then and provide it and then let people form a more informed opinion.
The key point here is i very rarely discuss or debate anything that is debatable. I will provide information, factual information. If someone is "disagreeing" with facts then that says more about them and anyone agreeing with them than it does about what I'm saying.
What you are basically saying is that it is concerning if when someone says "5 + 2 = 128,450" that I say "no, it's 7" and said person doesn't accept what I said. In such cases I'm not sure why you'd want to be on the side of the person stating factually incorrect things.
And again, to make it very clear... I'm not, didn't and rarely argue opinions. So there is nothing to disagree with unless someone is being purposefully obtuse, intentionally trying to be inflammatory, or willfully ignorant... or apply hanlons razer for potential other reasons.
Also don't think it's remotely true to say that in every single thread most people are against what you're saying and the one guy agreeing with you doesn't play the game... this week alone that isn't true, literally in this thread it isn't true 😅. The only person who "disagreed" with me in this thread is the person who i corrected on false statements, then shifted the goal posts and provided more false information which i corrected again. People won't always like what I'm saying because people are often use to talking nonsense and not being called on it, but even in those cases usually the people actually wanting to make informed decisions appreciate the info. I would assume that's why on multiple occasions many people have defended me against some of the more vitriolic comments that sometimes get made in response to said corrections.
