If you enjoy Mario carts Cold War is for you. Run n gun play with light tanks that have hit points of mediums and destroyers. 3 to 5 lights a game and lights seem to dominate and control most matches. Which team has the best light tank players usually wins. I believe speed and hit points of light tanks is ridiculous and needs balanced. There's zero fear playing lights and driving wherever you please. You either roll with the pack and throw all strategic play out the window in Cold War. I just don't understand how most think this is how it should be or believe it's super fun performing the same circles of death over and over. Mind the haters, yes I'm old and slow but enjoy playing tanks. Just struggle with the speeds of these tanks just trying to earn a bit of silver. Am I wrong or just too old for Cold War?
#Sorry guys, am I too old for Cold War?

You are not wrong about the "light tanks". They are greatly over tuned, still. Some are fast and small but have great firepower and hit points. It creates a large imbalance, especially in Era 2.
What is doesn't create is FUN for the tanks left in the dust.
Era 2 was at its peak right before the German light/TD line was added. It was all downhill after that. This was about 18 months ago.
CW has always been "to fast". No one plays it like WWII mode anymore. Every tank is fast and accurate. Missiles can erode health quickly and then there's Autocannons. The tanks with the most armor in the game get shredded by lights or worse SPAAG's with autocannons. CW would be better of without them.
Well I’m 83 and have 44000 games about half of which are cold war. To me cw is harder to play but my scores are higher than ww2. No question lights are a major pain but you just cant be a heavy off by yourself. Recognize if a light shows up you will probably die. In that situation, i attack immediately with great aggression . But age will slows is down for sure.
