I have been unable to find any explanation on something I have noticed the past 12-18 months on the leaderboard after a battle. Usually they are either all green or all red. Occasionally someone from the losing team will show up in there color. The strange behavior is when one of the players shows up in white, not red or green.
Why are they in white?

The odd coloured one is from the Losing Team - they scored enough XP to be in the TOP 3 so on the MVP podium - uncommon but not unusual.

I have seen all three from the same team and one is white. Usually when a losing team member hits the podium they retain their green or white letter color.
