For maximum concealment of a single piece of foliage. You want to be ~15m behind the bush/fallen tree.
You will know you are far enough away when the transparency of the foliage is no longer transparent
If its transparent, it provides YOU with concealment and not the other person.
If it's solid, it provides YOU with concealment but is also providing THEM with concealment. (Works both ways)
The general rule is, be within 15m so its transparent, provides you with concealment, and gives you the best opportunity to spot them.
If you want to shoot them, back up to be farther than 15m so that the bush is solid, then fire. This is because when you fire, all environmental objects within 15m are demasked, which means they no longer provide you with concealment.
