Banana Buster and Boulder is weakest heavies

This Banana Buster tank has weakest tier 7 gun 194mm of pen that is low compared tiger 131's apcr, the armor is just kinda same as the TVP T50/51 you can pen it with 160mm on most place. It has 5 degrees of gun depression if you aim over the spikes making it very awkward aim at lower plates on ridge lines and the poor mobility don't make up for it. And the Boulder is worse than Banana Buster in every way except hull armor which don't matter since the hull also get penned by 175mm guns also it has lower winrate than slapjack. Here are things I will buff both tanks at:

(Boulder's turret armor: 152mm plate ---> 170mm 120mm plate ---> 152mm Roof plate Armor 50mm --> 65mm)
(Boulder Upper plate 152mm --> 177mm)
(Banana Buster's 10 CM KAN M/34 155/194/53 ---> 165/214/53 Upper plate armor 152mm ---> 177mm (8 degrees of gun depression on all angles except aiming at the engine deck) 120mm plate ---> 130mm)

Thats why they have PMM, no Tier 9. What would be fun would to have the Banana Busters flame throwers to work.

So basically what your going to need to do is learn to sidescr_ape learn to angle your armour learn to bait shots learn weakspots and what you can take on aka don't go to brawl with super heavys and similar armoured tanks and your golden also don't be shy about spamming gold you carry enough ammo. vs real armour you can't contest your going to be in more of a support role if you can't get a plate you can pen then track them if someone's with you who can or change the engagement fall back regroup flank etc make them give up cover to chase you

According to wotstars banana buster has the highest winrate while the boulder has 16th because it's less versatile, for damage banana buster is 7th while boulder is 20th keep in mind it's only a couple hundred damage between the highest and lowest ranked 1285 vs 902

Wot stars also says the banana buster is very strong and boulder is slightly strong.

I'm on record as being unwilling to take wotstars as a be all and end all but I know both of these tanks very well and think wotstars has it right. I was previously ranked 1st in both of them currently 6th in both due to not playing them properly for over a year I have a 67% winrate on them because I understand the hardware and what their good at.

Having good Knowledge of game mechanics you will be able to do reasonably well in them just turning your hull 30/40° even if caught in the open will make your hull a bad shot for most tanks granted the turret is weak vs equal+ tier Prammo and the drive wheel can be pened for damage and tracking frontally if unangled that's where other the skills come in. Simply rocking back and forth between shots makes you a harder target the gun hits hard and being pref your almost always top tier where it will happily seal club 5s and 6s and be a unfair fight for most 7s it's only some 8s it struggles with and t8 pen does outclass your armour especially if not used effectively

Both tanks are great for learning the armour game and how to make your limited pen work some games you will just get tanks you can't effectively deal with but you can still find opportunities to make a difference in battle this is genuine advice I think buffing either tank would make them too strong they're reasonably good at everything but not completely overpowered they require some additional knowledge to be extremely effective but even without that knowledge there both still strong tanks

I like both, especially the no Tier 9's. PMM makes both usable.

U would be wrong on this one because the tanks lack in almost everything it has no speed, armor, dpm and pen

U can try to sidescr_ping but the tank has to many weak points

The only thing decent for it is the alpha but that's if u pen

I was ranked 1 on both i know them well they're extremely flexible if your not using the armour right its a skill issue

Both have the same turret banana busters spaced is more usable so means in practice its armour is actually better than boulders

Black prince is great it has armour and pen but sees 9s its also less mobile if memory serves

I remember both having a different turret and yes it does go in t9 but has enough armor and pen to work with it

The turret is pretty thick for the black prince surprisingly

Somewhere around 203mm it is indeed a strong turret and top tier a good bp driver has the edge in practice its more of a draw as the extra alpha and mobility on bb make it able to trade better and do more bp has the clear edge vs 8s but its not about the bp

I mean it has more weak points compared to normal TT tanks and as u say some stuff makes up for it but other tanks just out dpm and with less weak spots just do it better and even some lower tier are better to

It has no speed,pen, armor and more weak points

I just don't see any upsides to it

@ocean hamlet i just checked out the wn8 on wot as u said one of the highest but hears the thing about wn8

They guy has 65 battle in it and playing 1 match a day will boost up wn8 a lot

I have a friend that has 37,000 wn8 on a tank because he played 1 match in it

bbs 30kmh is a big improvement over 25 it's minor in grand scheme as other heavys are faster but it lets it get to position faster than boulder and bp and as we are comparing those tanks its notable.

The armour is phenomenal you just have to use it how its meant to be used sidescra-pe it dpm doesn't matter in that kind of armour brawl where you poke on reload after baiting a shot and 7.3s for 300 is nasty

What i said was i used to be first and know the tank from personal experience the current guy has 165 battles not 65 and hasn't played it in 4 years my stats have slipped in it as i still do take it out every now and then I've also not based anything ive said on how its wn8 is doing.

37k wn8 im guessing its a low tier tank that got removed so no games in it to average its wn8 against i have friends that had that too

The tank is not removed and yes it's a lower tier but still wn8 almost means nothing

And it doesn't matter it u know the tank with personal experience

All time is 106 the guy with 65 was 3 marking it not just playing it once a day they now have 3 marks which unless they go for gold likely means they will never play it again.
