#Tank damage due to being ramed

I would like to know why tanks do more damage raming the pinning tanks? I was playing a tank era 3, 500 hp and no damage, and i was ramed by a heavy tank and killed from being ramed. How is this fair? If tanks can kill you just by ramming you, you should then drop the distance requierments for all tanks that have atgm's. It would be even damage then, i think.

For ramming in general It’s got to do with physics. (Ie mass and velocity of said vehicles)

Yes it’s an arcade game. But for example ELC 90 ramming a 100+ton KV-5 isn’t going to do squat to him while the ELC destroyed themselves.

For CW though there’d need to be more info to determine if something odd happened or perhaps a CW expert can speak up

Yep. Sounds pretty accurate

I believe it mostly based mainly on your tank weight and speed compared to the other tank weight speed,

It's a holdover from the original game because of a so called historical occurrence(when in fact the explosion occurred because the ramming tank was already on fire and blew up anyway). I feel the time has come to do away this completely. Or at least limit it to one of 4 things happening. Nothing happens to either vehicle. Both vehicles have track damage. One or the other vehicles get track damage.

the calulation is still a HE explosion at point of impact

#

your combined speed with weight as a desciding factor of who takes more

if an actual expert would correct this, i wouldnt argue it.

I've been rammed plenty of times- always led the aggressor to die though... #E75GANG
