Today we have started a weekend event to take a first look at the new Community Map.

Please leave all your thoughts about this map here, so we can continue to shape the map in conjunction with your feedback.

Would love to actually be able to test the map, but it isn't available in custom games. Its a shame.

So far, the map has an interesting topography, even the huge depressions, but the fields of fire are far too open. Realize some filler will be added, but ambushing and escape are difficult. Overall I liked playing on it, but perhaps too easy to keep enemy engaged when you found him.

Is this 7 vs 7 or full game?

All of the depressions are neat but as is the map feels bland without much to show as far as destructible cover and bushes. There doesn't seem to be any good way to disengage from a fight since the depressions force you to move back into line of sight to retreat.

little cover imho, made getting 5k+ damage on era 2 easy when long range rather than something actually challenging

You have some structures built into the walls of the canyons which helps identify where you are. I suggest expanding on that to keep players oriented.

Also, add more green and pine trees. As you can see from the pics of buildings at Los Alamos, there are sporadic green bushes and pine trees and grasses.

Also a bit more variation in rock color with some red. NM is the Land of Enchantment for a reason. A little river going through would not be bad. Some of the rocks are kind of lumpy together.

If more Moab feel need more vertical rock and still more green shrubs and definitely more red rock.

In regards to gameplay, it seems you can shoot into most of the each of the bases. Northern base from like G8 which is pretty far away. Southern base did not seem as easy but you have a hill at G2/F3 to use.

Players seem to gravitate to the hill at G8 so it might be better to move this more to the center for both teams to use.

What is the point of the deep pit? Players will simply throw their tanks into it to see the Easter Egg. OR the Easter Egg is completely wasted. Both of those options don't seem like good ones.

Please remove/adjust the death pit and move the Easter Egg to another location. There doesn't need to be an area where players will instantly die if they drive into it, either accidently or purposely.

I am not sure if the water is too deep as well. If it is, it should be made shallower to prevent drowning.

Got to explore the map pretty thoroughly and I have to say it seems pretty cool. Here are some of my suggestions:

1.) Do not add a lot of foliage to the elevated areas. They already have so much control over the map foliage is just an advantage it doesnt need.

2.) Add more cover in the open fields. There is a lot of open area that could be a pain to cross in tanks without camo.

3.) Decrease the slope down to the water in the northwest corner to allow tanks to climb back up and not die.

4.) I don't know if it would be possible, but I think it would be cool if all of the bunkers were open and connected via tunnels. Underground elements haven't been explored too much (only really seen in Azure Coast) and I think it would be a neat addition. Similar to the Safe Haven map on PC.

Other than that, obviously would like to see more color. But its still in development so I am sure stuff like that will come with time.

The center of the map needs to be lowered. It is too high. Tanks can snipe from it all the way across the map.

They can pull back behind the central ridges. However they are so high tanks that they are shooting at can't get cover from their lower ridges. The center ends up being too powerful.

We need this kind of map in cold war, the era 3 need it ! We are bored of the little map of ww2, we need some special map just for cold war.
We need bigger distance, cause in what we have, all team turn in side of the map and goes to the other side camp, to cap 🤨, this will help for sure
