No offense, but despite the support this suggestion has gotten, it's not a good suggestion at all.
I'll explain why:
-
It's an mbt line, and the TAA1 is a tank destroyer. You can't have that in the middle of an mbt line. If you don't believe me, I'm romanian, and I know that romanian equipment names are very literal. "TAA" stands for "Tun Anti-tanc Autopropulsat", which translates to "Self Propelled Gun" in english, SPG aka the other word for TD. It's litterally called "Tank Destroyer 1".

The tr85m1 would have to be a medium, and we have the tr125 which is a heavy before. There is no precedent of a heavy line going directly into medium, only by branching. Now the tr85m1 needs to be there. It's Romania's best mbt. A romanian line without the tr85m1 is like a french one without the Leclerc or a british one without the challanger 2, but this is not the way to put it in there.

The tr85m1 is from 1999, just old enough to be in the game, so anything newer is not possible because of the year 2000 cap, so we can't have a tr85m2. And even if that wasn't a problem, there's no tr85m2. It's not real, it didn't even exist as a paper project. All there is is one artist's imagination who made something up and made a high quality drawing if it. I know the pictures you got that from and I attached them. A giveaway should've been that this tank obviously has nothing to do with the tr85, so it can't be a modernisation of it (that's what the m is for)
I made a suggestion for this line too months ago, where I aimed to have only real tanks and took advantage of the fact that this is already a mixed nation line (Czechoslovakia/Romania) to add more nations to fill out gaps:
But seeing how people would rather have full romanian tanks in era 3 with paper projects (the TAA1 is a paper project), I will make a better suggestion by those standards today, one that could actually be implemented.
I already did the research for it, just need to make a post.
