Overall, I don't understand why the MM is even 2 tiers higher. It may not be that, say, Tier 8 will only play with Tier 8 or Tier 10 with Tier 10, but it may be that Tier 7 and Tier 8 and the like. Of course, you can play even if you are 2 tiers lower, but mostly we will be food for the top tier tanks
