***Why can't we identify bots in multiplayer?
We are making improvements to ease new players into the game and this is part of that. We thought players would have a more rewarding experience by making them feel and look like real players. We were sick of the old names so we went with more fun names. ***Don't agree with this simply because during fights we request assistance from team players. A BOT does not respond to the request and then we get annoyed only to realise later that it's a BOT. BOTs are useful to help with gameplay, I agree, but also beyond useless when commands/requests are ignored.
If I know it's a BOT, I won't waste time requesting assistance.
A while ago, fighting in in one of the maps, I was happy that 4 tanks came along towards where I was headed , happy to think I had the required firepower to assist me. Several seconds later and watching their movements and wasting time on checking up on them during the fight, i realised they were all BOTS.
So much for so called sensible fire support. Got whacked in that one from what I can remember.
So, NO, a BOT is BOT and we need to know what we are supported with. Please revert to the original set up where we know they are BOTs.
