***Why can't we identify bots in multiplayer?
We are making improvements to ease new players into the game and this is part of that. We thought players would have a more rewarding experience by making them feel and look like real players. We were sick of the old names so we went with more fun names. ***

Don't agree with this simply because during fights we request assistance from team players. A BOT does not respond to the request and then we get annoyed only to realise later that it's a BOT. BOTs are useful to help with gameplay, I agree, but also beyond useless when commands/requests are ignored.
If I know it's a BOT, I won't waste time requesting assistance.
A while ago, fighting in in one of the maps, I was happy that 4 tanks came along towards where I was headed , happy to think I had the required firepower to assist me. Several seconds later and watching their movements and wasting time on checking up on them during the fight, i realised they were all BOTS.
So much for so called sensible fire support. Got whacked in that one from what I can remember.
So, NO, a BOT is BOT and we need to know what we are supported with. Please revert to the original set up where we know they are BOTs.

I agree 100%. I can see zero reasons why any player, at any level of game experience would not want to know , as quickly as possible, whether or not a friend or foe is a Bot. Zero reasons.

The right way to ease new players into the game is by having more realistic and informative training. You can’t convince me that easing players into the game is achieved by adding 4 to 6 bots per side when other players are experienced and real.

Yes, why not develop using Coop mode code to make a single player PVE accessible after completing the current training steps (i.e a War Stories Version 2 without video to save development time and money) before entering PVP games. Hiding Bot names will only make things more difficult for new players.

Even in Coop mode trying to easily find real players at a glance is now a pain.

The BOTs having names to make players "feel" special is beyond ridiculous & pathetic... so we are supposed to be aggravated to think we are communicating with an actual player only to realize it was a useless BOT the whole time because you people want someone's little feelings not hurt???
My God this company is far gone beyond any type of help or anything.
It's even funnier how THEY wanted more "fun" but they are NOT the ones dealing with the disgusting RNG & MM while the rest of us are the ones dealing with all that & also dealing with idiots rushing into the open & getting killed in the 1st couple of seconds which happens way too often, so what WG said is stupid because a lot of us dealing with that are NOT having "fun".

I am dumbfound by the statements "We thought " and " We were sick of the old names so we went with more fun names." ***
Decisions made by a Professional business usually wouldn't use such strategic choices. I hope that such choices can be reviewed and reversed.

Don't be fooled I got intel that not all bots play with the same strength. I can't tell you which one plays more like wn8 of 1500 more or less and which below 700
