Just read in the QnA that the Deathstar is getting a buff, namely due to low win rate. IIRC, average to low win rate is also why WG has said they won’t nerf the AVRE. I know they take other stats into consideration like average damage, but it seems like they put a lot of stock in win rate as a metric for how a tank is performing and I question how reliable this is. It just seems to me like there are a lot of factors besides tank performance that can affect win rate.

Do you want more proof that these guys have no idea what they are doing?
Me: A sturmtiger main reading the 183 was getting a buff
On the scale and with the way that WG looks at data, nothing affects win rate other than how good a tank is. WG doesn’t take into consideration how fair a tank is which brings all the issues we have. The fact is, stuff like the Maus, is4, pz7 win more than the deathstar, AVRE, and taran for 90% of players but don’t get complained about for being OP bc they’re not as toxic to play against
Ya feels
on pc they nerf tanks because people play them too often but buffing/nerfing because of wr, doesnt sound much better.
