#fix assist damage mechanic

I do understand the mechanic, but why I get 0 assist for spotting the enemy while I m alone in that part while the teammates can shoot them
Like it makes no sense
It's simple. it does make sense. If your teammates can see them, you don't get assist. Nothing broken.
Then why the light tank can run across the field while the team still can see the tanks and get the assist damage for the spotted enemy?
A player will get assist damage if they are the one 'spotting" the target, and if their teammates that shoot the target cannot "spot" the vehicle. Keep in mind, "spotting" is not he same as "view range", nor the same as "render range".
And Cold War "true vision" is another seperate mechanic again, unrelated to 'Spotting", "view range" and 'render range".
Yeah..... they are "rigging" the game just for you. 🙄
Watch the videos, understand the mechanics, and you won't need to ask these questions.
Bro I m playing this game for 4 years,I understand the mechanics, but I see this thing unfair
Bro. If you "see this thing unfair", clearly you DON'T understand the mechanics. If you did understand, you wouldn't ask the questions. I'm trying to help clarify this issue you have. I've posted official vids explaining the mechanics in detail. And you just stick your head in the sand
@prime tulip if you as a light tank spot enemies, the enemy almost always shoots/moves which reduces their camo. This then enables other tanks on your team to also have enough vision to spot them
@raw rover Respectfully, No thats not how it works. Watch the vids.
OOpS, i see what your saying, yes this makes sense. So yes, if the enemy moves, their concealment factor will reduce, and your teammates then could 'see' the enemy, and you would lose your "spotting" assistance.
So moving and shooting doesn't reduce the camo values of a tank?
My bad
👍
@prime tulip All good. 🙂

I do agree that light tanks should get some reward for this situation though
The worst part is 'team mates' have to 1. Fire and 2. Hit the tanks you spot. You have zero control of that. And whilst you are lighting up the Reds they will have great fun shooting at you.
The trick is… light them up and stay unspotted 😉
