i kinda understand not having one before abyssal terrors, but now that there's curse, it is necessary.

It'd be good to have showing on the purple health bar, too. Not much point in the bar being purple but that could mean you have 4 hits, 10 hits, or 1 hit shielded.

Having it visible on the health bar would actually mean that you can get away without having it on the stats screen, since you get told the number at the start of every wave.
