this started happening recently, within the last few weeks. i'll go to open any program and the window won't open. i have to restart my computer to remedy this.
within lutris, i get this error message when i try to run an app after this bug hits: "Maximum number of clients reached" . i'm not sure if this means anything, or if this is lutris specific, but i don't remember seeing these lines in the logs before.
