My repositories seem to be bugged and give me an error when I try to change it, and when I try to refresh my update manager, it gives me an error about connection (I am fully online). What's going on here?

Ok, type this please

curl -sS https://download.spotify.com/debian/pubkey_5384CE82BA52C83A.asc | sudo gpg --dearmor --yes -o /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/spotify.gpg

If there are no errors, then type

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/vivaldi.sources && sudo apt update

and show the result.

that's strange. it still showed the error sign when I tried changing the repository as the original message from update manager said but it still somehow worked

it's like it lied to me and told me there was an error when it switched perfectly fine...?
