As far as I am aware, there is Steam Tools NG
which does seem to have a build for Linux
I am wait nevermind, its no longer being maintained
Steam Tools NG doesn't seem to be getting any updates
wt should i do next
Oh sorry, I had gone away for a second.
so you got Steam Tools NG?
I think you could have just used Steam Tools itself
Pardon me for this confusion, please wait a bit.
Is this the steam tools you were talking about?
yes it is
I want to thank you for following up with me.
What?
thank you for helping me
okay m waiting
You are welcome :D
actually i want to get the free games with it manifest lua nd stuff: 3
Hey, it seems there is no alternative nor any provided script for it to run on Linux natively.
Uhh
You can just run Steamtools itself in Wine/Proton
do you know how to use Proton or Wine?
yess
and do you have steam installed?
wait, did you already run steam tools NG?
m trying to do it but some errors kill me
yeah, it shouldn't work. So yeah.
Steamtools NG doesn't seem to be supported anymore
ahaaa that's whyy
well once you install steam, you can run steam and then do you know how to enable proton translation layer on steam?
thank you for ur help bro 😭🙏🏻
Man honestly I am confused as to what you really needed but still welcome I guess 😭 🖤
can i !! :3
Huh?
I didn't exactly get what you just said 😭😭
owhh 😭
i don't know how to add games for free on stream like i used to do on windows by adding lua files to steam tool 😭🙏🏻
Oh wait, didn't you say you could help yourself?
i couldn't 😭🙏🏻
Oh 🥀
I am sorry bit I am actually a bit busy atm and won't actually be able to help anymore 😭
But let me just leave an outline of what you could try out to solve the issue;
its okay
thank you for helping 😭🙏🏻
Install steam, then enable Proton (within steam), download the Steam tolls app, add it to steam's games list, run it, and it could work
Welcome! Hope you can solve it!
