Hi, I tried changing the plymouth theme by using ' plymouth-set-default-theme' as instructed by both debian and arch wiki but it said that no such command was found, even when running with sudo
I also tried changing the conf in '/etc/plymouth/plymouthd.conf' but it straight up didnt exist.
Does anybody have any idea how linux mint allows you to change the plymouth theme?

You should refer to Ubuntu rather than Debian or Arch
unless you use LMDE

sorry for the late response I was charging my laptop
anyway I followed this tutorial and when I shutdown it did show me the bgrt splash to which i changed it to
But when it restarted it went back to the regular mint spinning logo
