my intel GPU doesn't show any usage on mangohud, but the cpu is at 85% in hl2 at the same time. I think this is cuz the mesa drivers are crapping out n' using software rendering, but mangohud shows that the renderer is DXVK and not llvmpipe. So, is there any way i can troubleshoot this?
fyi here are the specs:
Operating System - Debian Trixie
GPU - Intel UHD Graphics 620 on Vulkan 1.4.309
CPU - Intel i3 8130U
Driver version - Mesa 25.0.7-2
DE - Xfce 4.20 with X11

mangohud simply might be having issues polling the iGPU for usage, common in integrated chipsets
if the 'renderer' field in inxi -Gxxx's output for your GPU reports 'Mesa Intel Graphics' or similar, you're good
CPU being at 85% is kinda expected
Old i3
well then, is there any way i can make hl2 not run at half the performance it got on windows?(as per the image)
afaik it natively uses dxvk
but dxvk(the version it's using atleast) runs horrible
