Moved from Windows a few months ago where I didn't have this issue, used my Steamdeck as a PC for a month while I repaired my PC and I didn't have this issue. It is not an issue with my ISP or connection

I'm unsure where to start with troubleshooting, but at random my internet drops out, and its usually in clusters. It lasts for only a couple seconds but apps take time to recover and reconnect.

hello, i had a similar problem

#

i used timeshift to revert back to an older backup of my NVME and the problem went away, its an issue with Cinnamon's wifi/ethernet drivers

#

and like u said, i tried out SteamOS on my second drive and the internet worked perfectly fine

drivers are already included, you can't really "reinstall" them

maybe try a newer kernel from the update manager
