try the steps to boot in safe mode
after thatt gets you to desktop, open terminal, and run inxi -Fxz
this will make a small system report of general info
copy the whole result and show here
Ill give it a shot when i get home thank you!
I think you misunderstood
Its not showing a black screen its not showing anything, my monitors show me a popu0 saying they arent getting a signal
well, get to grub menu at least
unplug one or monitor's signal cable
just have one monitor
and get to grub like in picture
Okay but how it dosent send ANY display data
My keyboad is plugged in but does not power on
Ill try one monitor one sec
Yeah nothing
I moved the hdmi cable between the two slots and no change
if keyboard doesnt show any lights, then it's a hardware issue
is it a wired USB keyboard, or something else?
Wired usb
power the computer down
unplug AC power cable from computer back
wait 3 minutes
this is desktop?
Would unplugging the ac cable from the power outlet do the same
as long as it's the right cable for sure
Because i just came back with it plugged for about 30minutes
Yes its a desktop
I did unplug it anyway just now though
yep press power button in for a few seconds too
then later try with just one monitor connected
when u power on, the keyboard caplock and numlock light should blink on]off
and u should see manufacturer logo on active screen
Nothing on the monitor or keyboard
Nope
Havent changed a thing. All that happened was the configuration screen this morning
was the config screen something related to BIOS?
if you got no keyboard lights blink on, that's not good
unplug any other USB stuff
including mouse
just have keyboard. maybe even change to different USB port that. and power on again.
Gotcha will do
I have no idea it had a mouse and an x in the corner but was all grayscale
I just got out as fast as i could
did u do any overclocking, or changing custom (extremely high) video refresh rates?
in the past 30 days on this
Nothing
Nope
Only thing ive touched is resolution
well, if it doesnt even get into BIOS with a press of the BIOS key... then look at the motherboard lights / pulse pattern/ colours. and get your motherboard model, and find online documentation on it and the lights meanings
may end up having to visit repair shop too.
The light dosent pulse its just a splid orange red
Which is the normal as far as ive seen
Whats the bios key its worth a shot but i dont think itll work
#📘wiki message << BIOS and BOOT MENU key codes
By brand of motherboard?
And you press this key during boot up i assume
yes within 1/2 second of powering on.
press a few taps of it
make sure F-keys work
on the primary-level of the key
Wdym?
if the keycap has two functions on it, make sure u access the right one
Oh gotcha
any success?
if some very power-hungry video card, check for melted power cable connector on it
Trying to figure out which button to press
I'm looking at the page I bought it from rn
No clue what i would be looking for or where that is, im a noobie when it comes to computers
Yeah no response
well either research it, or take to pc shop
can u open case and take photo of inside with good ample lighting ?
Oh sure
I had to plung and move it
Nope its tight and good
Fair enough, ill bring it over now then, thanks for the help
