#Need help!. Everything looks small and bit wider in linux mint (icons, text etc)

I guess you use a laptop with high resolution screen, and while Windows 11 probably scaled GUI by 125%, Linux Mint leave it at 100%.
You could use the factional scale of Linux Mint to mimic Windows 11, but it currently work pretty badly, so I recommend you simply lower resolution in Display Settings
FHD+ 16:10 (1920 x 1200, WUXGA), this is my resolution
A photo of the screen would be nice too
screenshot? or pic of the display?
yes, 1920x1200 on laptop it's pretty small and usually scaled 125% in Windows
I recomend you switch to a lower 16:10 resolution
Pic of the display, preferrably with display settings open.
give a min
is this pic is fine?
1680 x 1050 this one suits pretty good for my display then 1920 x 1080
no, it's 16:10 display, 1080p look horrible on 16:10 display
there is no other way to fix the issue?
Ok, well if you want bigger text, you can go to settings - font selection and use font scaling there.
you can use Fractional scale, but it's currently experimental and work badly
scaling option has only 100% default and above that it is 200%
yesn you have to enable fractional scale in advanced
You can enable it in the settings tab, but it is experimental and might mess with some apps or games. I'd just increase the text size
if you scale to 125% go back to native resolution
ya i did that and that itself is pretty big
anyway in my experience, fractionnal scaling is glitchy and slow down everythinh
anyway thanks for your help guys.
If anyone knows fix in future. kindly share it
... Like I said, increase text scaling to whatever looks comfortable
