if i cant find a work around by tomorrow i am going to swap to another distro because ive had too many issues with mint unfortunately

I'm 95% sure it's not the system's fault. If it were Mint's fault, most users running Steam on Linux Mint would be experiencing the same issue. Just my opinion.

The same happened to me yesterday while I was playing earth defence force 4.1 with my boyfriend last night, I just completely closed down the game and restarted it -> that fixed the issue for me and now I sit at 1-15 ping

I’ve installed steamOS on my second drive, gonna play around with that and some other distros

Because in my attempt to fix my Ethernet drivers, Network Manager now refuses to work and I can no longer connect to the internet (while using mint)
