I installed UNetbootin, as I do not have a flash drive spare to install the regular way, I have the iso downloaded on my C drive, I give UNetbootin the path for it (C:Linux_mint.iso), I restart my PC, go into boot menu, choose UNetbootin, select start Linux mint cinnamon 64 bit, but it keeps throwing out the same error (cannot find the iso ${iso_path}

I've gone back into windows 10, made sure I followed the tutorial correctly, but I get this error regardless, even if I attempt to launch mint in compatability mode
Windows 10 isn't allowing me to shrink my SSD volume either
I have 115GB free on my SSD, but I can't shrink it because after looking it up it's saying something about unmovable files which windows cannot relocate or shrink
Further info: I do not own a flash drive to install Linux that way

use that to shrink.
also see about ULLI . Mental Outlaw has a vid about it on youtube.
only need about 3.5 GB for ULLI to do its live thing. For Linux itself, allow at least 55 GB of unallocated space.
Okay thank you I'll try that now

fully installed?
Yeah fully functioning now 🙂
did u use unet or ULLI?
Neither worked for me so I eventually just politely asked my next door neighbour if he had a flash drive I could borrow for maybe an hour, and he handed me one he hadn't even opened yet
if you used etcher on it, you best fully reformat it GOOD before giving it back
since etcher is a dirty dog to remove on windows.
the 'format usb' tool in windows wont handle it
linux Disks app has no issues though with formatting the uab tho, from its dots menu
