I'm on 22.3 now, and this worked just fine on 21.3 but once I upgraded to 22.3 WINE was removed entirely (I just noticed) and I still cannot get it to run .exe applications and I do not know how to force it.

If I managed to get it to work before I no longer remember how.

If you don't care prefix, you can simply set wine as command

Gotcha. Now I need to figure out what the path is. Thankfully I don't use many .exe applications so this fine

if you don't specify path, it will use the default prefix

Yeah I don't know anything about that so it's all good.
