So Before installing Mint , I was using Windows 8.1
And The Wifi was fine, i could browse the web smoothly but when i install Mint XFCE edition
i couldn't. I tried to install the broadcom driver but it failed
When I opened the Driver Manager and installed . It keep running in Errors.
I tried to Install the driver using Terminal. It ran in to errrors too.
I had tried to delete the old driver and install another one but it failed.
The Driver I need is Broadcom BCM43142 and my laptop model is Asus P550L
Secure Boot is already disabled. I already installed a nvidia driver and it worked perfectly.

Try getting a temporary connection, by wire... if that's possible. Then run this.
sudo apt install bcmwl-kernel-source

If you have your installation media, I guess you can mount it. I have an inkling that you could add it as a temporary repository, from where you could install those packages from.

Otherwise, you may visit Debian or Ubuntu package repositories on the web, on your phone. From there, download the specific package you need and its repositories. Once you're done, transfer it via cable to your laptop and install that.
