Hi all,

My controller on Linux Mint has a mapping problem where pressing the left trigger moves the right joystick on the X-axis (bluetooth and wired).

Everything used to work, but it broke a few days ago...

I've already tried some things:

  • Disabling the "hid_sony" driver, to make sure the newer "hid_playstation" driver gets used.

  • Adding my game through steam (non steam game) and using steam input, still didnt work. But the weird thing is that when I test my controller through steam, everything works perfectly.

  • I tried a few remappers, "antimicrox" and "input remapper", also didn't work...

I used the app "jtest-gtk" to test.

The game im trying to run is an emulator "Cemu" but other emulators like "Dolphin" have the same issue...

When I run the "lsusb" command, the controller shows up as: "Bus 003 Device 006: ID 054c:09cc Sony Corp. DualShock 4 [CUH-ZCT2x]"

Thanks for reading, any ideas are appreciated!

and last of all, when moving the right joystick on the x-axis it moves the y-axis of the joystick

I fixed it by making all my emulators use the SDL api instead of the shitty joydev
