I had to go backwards a time shift to undo it but one of these updates is causing my gpu to be undetected for any software. For example in LMStudio it would say that all GPUs are disabled or if I try to run a game it runs horribly because the gpu isn't contributing to the performance. Don't know what to do other than go back a time shift and just not update it. My best guess is that it's either the firmware or or graphics driver update that messes it up.

Don’t update nvidia drivers
like 4 other people have had this issue today after updating drivers
Ok I won't for now. Do you know where I can see an announcement for if/when the issue is resolved?
I play helldivers 2 and the forums are filled with linux players saying the game won't launch for them lol
Another game I play called Warhammer 40k spacemarine ran at 4fps because of this
yeah it’s probably defaulting to software rendering
because there’s no gpu
software rendering uses the cpu for graphics
as you might be able to imagine, using your brain as your eyeballs probably won’t give you the best sight
can you show the changelog for the nvidia driver and linux-firmware package updates?
How would I do that? I did a test to only avoid updating the nvidia drivers and let everything else update and everything was fine making me conclude that the drivers are the issue so I set its update to be ignored to avoid accidentally updating it.
when you select the package, click on the changelog tab at the bottom
Got the changelog here's the first screenshot of it
And this is the rest of it
