bc it doesnt run unless i do (talking from experiance with windows)

it doesnt launch on linux either

anbd the way i fixed on windows was running as admin so i thought maybe it would help here too

I don't think "elevated privileges" is the issue here. Please elaborate on what game are you trying to run, how and where.
