I'm installing Linux on my older Laptop. It already has Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon, however I had an issue with an update (I accidently stopped it while it was updating) and something became corrupted and I couldn't update any further. I was looking into different versions and I saw that maybe i should go with Linux Mint 22.1 "Xia".
I've uploaded the current laptop's system info.
I use this for travel and doing school/work use. I'll watch You tube videos on the device however I won't game on it.
Do Note: as per the uploaded message, that is where the system info sits now in terms of version state. I plan on doing a full wipe and start from scratch. I already have all data on an external USB to transfer over. This laptop needs a new start.
May I have some help choosing the perfect Mint version OS for this device please?
I found this video which I will follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcgDLDOGeig
