#Is it possible to use LMDE with XFCE or Mate?

I know regular mint supports these DEs, but LMDE seems to only support Cinnamon. Is swapping the DE for the Mint flavored Mate or XFCE a non-trivial affair or is it a bit of work?

you can put it. then change to it from the circle with mountains icon in the LOGIN SCREEN
