Also, Is TLP better than Auto CPU Freq? My laptop is Asus Tuff F15 and I have dual booted Linux Mint on it.

AutoCPUFreq manages CPU clocks based on workload. TLP is much more advanced and configurable, allowing you to configure the behaviour of the computer on almost any power state transition/workload/etc.

Limiting the max battery percentage allowed before stopping charging is usually configured in the BIOS setup

On [some] Lenovos you can tweak a sysfs variable of the ACPI/firmware interface driver to limit it in the OS, not sure if asus_wmi has that feature though..
