I installed Vcrun2022 however the game crashes on startup
I tried running in Terminal but couldnt find any useful information as to the dependency missing
I can post the output next time on my PC incase theres something else Im not seeing in Terminal.
I used Proton GE 10.33 aswell as proton 10 no launch options
Couldnt find anything on ProtonDB

Are you on an Nvidia GPU?
You need to install separate drivers for that

the game apparently has horrible (if any) optimizations (runs like shit on current gen GPUs) and your GPU might also be too old, which contributes to it crashing. Perhaps it detects the hardware as bad and autoterminates
mind sharing the file that journalctl -b | grep steam > jctl.txt creates?

In home/john/ jctl.txt is empty so im probably looking at wrong location for the steam jctl.txt 🤔
