I have heard that you can use some Android app that lets a bootable ISO work as such. However I have absolutely no real knowledge of its use or viability/effectiveness

Linux Mint 22 review and demo, including full installation and setup tutorial for those transitioning from Windows.
Linux Mint 22 can be freely download via https://www.linuxmint.com/
The Etcher application I used to create a Linux Mint 22 USB drive is also free to download here: https://etcher.balena.io/
And you can find my video Windows and...
first five minutes of vid show "how to install linux"
i meant with the phone just as a storage and then atach it via usb a to usb c and thx
so just klick a random 1 in your country?
if you mean saving an ISO from the website, yes choose any country server
.
yea but just from files
no
the boot medium needs BOOT CODE in special place in order for a computer to treat it as a bootable device, and attempt to start an OS from it
so data tranfer (i think thats what its kaled ) wont work?
dont have that Xp
alternate way is LAN-boot, but you need second computer to host
the phone is all i have to do it
and the computer you want to install Linux on must connect by ethernet cable
which do you recomend etchdroid (no root) or drive droid (requies root)
I believe etchdroid is to make a usb - from the smartphone
so u need a usb stick, plus port adapter
drive droid is the app i first mentioned
whats root btw
