Hi can someone help me i recently installed linux miint but my internal microphone doesnt work well me friends tell me its too much noise

open alsamixer by name in terminal
maximize window.
press F6 to choose sound card.
check all the columns out. turn mic boost down in F3 mode (playback) and also F4 mode (capture)
