Running Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon and getting this error whenever I try to update the kernel to 6.17.0-19 from 6.14.0-37 from it also mentions a make.log so here's that, sorry, i'm new to linux so lmk if you need any more details

The problem here is that virtualbox 7.0.16 isn't compatible with kernel 6.17.

If you don't use it, please remove it. If you do use it, remove the mint version and install the latest one https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/7.2.6/virtualbox-7.2_7.2.6-172322~Ubuntu~noble_amd64.deb

Virtualbox is a bad choice in general on Linux because of its own kernel driver

purge it with sudo apt purge virtualbox virtualbox-dkms

then update your kernel
