Go into Brave options, Appearence section, and switch betwwen to GTK, QT or Native to see if that fixe something
Switching to GTK does not help and clicking on GT does nothing. 🙁
I tried many of them and the gap was still there
how did you installed Brave ?
from Software Manager
uninstall it
ok
Then install it via this tutorial :
https://brave.com/linux/
the Debian, Ubuntu, Mint section
those are commands to execute in terminal
sudo apt install curl
sudo curl -fsSLo /usr/share/keyrings/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg
sudo curl -fsSLo /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.sources https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-browser.sources
sudo apt update
sudo apt install brave-browser
ok, I did it, but it is still there 🙁
do you have scaled your display in some way, like 125% ?
when you look at the top left corner you can see it
I don't have it
I think you are almost alone to have this bug
Please show your display settings
I am looking for this and cannot find it
Open Menu and search for Display
should I switch to english in settings so you can see the settings in english?
not required currently
ok, eveything is ok, so the issue is not here
What theme do you use ?
Mint-Y dark ?
Oh, found it. I had font setting set to 1,2
when I change it to 1,1 or 1,0 it is gone
where ? Brave options ?
no, system
ok, see
Appearance > Font Selection
if you want bigger font you better change font size in the field above
from 10 to 12 for example
Oh, I missed that. Thank you!
you're welcome
maybe you should restart Discord
Oh, fair point.
or setting font size in Discord options
