make sure SSD is fully compatible, might try a BIOS update and SSD firmware update as well Then after that boot into Linux live env and check smart status of the drive
could be a corrupted boot partition as well
is secure boot disabled? What are these 'internal SD Modules' ? it could be 'Solid (State) Data Module for os storage? yes, it seems so: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-internal-sd-module/apd/330-bbmr/wifi-and-networking ... was Windows Server on it before?

Yes, Windows Server used to be on it, but i had no issue installing Mint on my HDDs, its only the time i install it on an SSD that it gave me issues.
