Hello, I installed Linux Mint Zara and I see this message in the reports. What's the issue? All updates are installed and the latest drivers are installed for the video card. I understand this has something to do with the video card drivers. Everything is working fine.

this looks like a possible bug in the standard Wayland client library, if you're not constantly hindrance of it..it can be safely ignored but do note that if you are experiencing desktop/application/graphical issues, a possible fix would be to try different Nvidia drivers (usually a previous version) which you can search for in the software manager or on the Nvidia website (make sure your GPU is compatible).

seems like an issue with the nvidia drivers too

#

what if you stick to version 580?

#

I've seen way too many reports of broken 590 drivers

The system is stable and there are no problems. I see this error in the reports from time to time. Before this, I had Windows 11 and there were no problems either, but then I switched to Linux and now I'm seeing this. I also have a second system, an HP z2g9, also running Linux Mint, Zara, and it also has the same error. The card is an RTXA2000 16GB Blackwell. It's most likely a driver issue.

I don't think so at least not directly, the errors note missing libraries/files relating to wayland and eglinfo, which is a utility for displaying EGL info: https://github.com/dv1/eglinfo I think that tool/binary then segfaults noting it's missing eglinfo files for both wayland and nvidia

seems to be part of some debugging process of it where it's used
