Good afternoon! I am trying to use pcsx2 to emulate playstation 2 on linux mint (xfce) and from the start, I am getting analog stick drift/scrolling when trying to select what country/time zone I am in This happens with both an old USB logitech gamepad, and a chinese ps3 controller.

secondarily, I have epsxe installed, but since there was not a software manager repository for it, I had to do it with snap, and I am having issues getting EpsxE to be able to see my mounted secondary internal storage.

I just want to say ahead of time, I really appreciate any advice you folks might be able to give, and that I am a bit of a linux noob.

Extend the dead zone. Change up the accuracy. You can do this in various emulators and controller setups. Those setups can be found as apps on Github. The PS3/PS4/PS5 are currently in patent BS. A lot of those older drivers were removed. They will be back up as the patents expire for stuff lik Dual Sense. In the meantime your best bet is 8bitdo, wired. It works perfect on Linux.
