So I was tinkering around mount options because for some reason my system had a few issues with file permissions because I am dumb and chose to encrypt everything basically when installing mint 😭 what I think basically did this is that I changed sda1 to user session default and now I am stuck on ttyd

I have now booted into live boot how do I get my files 😭

this would've been a 3 to 5 minute fix in live mode if u didn't encrypt the whole damn disk.

wipe it and reinstall.

copy all your most important files from tty2 blackscreen if u can log in - onto a usb backup drive of some sort. learn how to use the cp command
