I tried to Suspend my computer but the computer did not suspend, I tried to open back the Shut Down menu but the menu doesn’t load up either.

This has happened twice on occasion, each on 2 separate devices.

Using “sudo shutdown” or “sudo reboot” in Terminal does work, however.

you can use reboot without sudo. as far as your problem, maybe someone else has the answer.
