#Keyboard won't work after suspend

The internal keyboard on my ideapad slim 3 stops working after I wake my laptop from "suspend". The keyboard works fine otherwise, but only stops working after suspend, even after entering the password using the onscreen keyboard.

it is a known ACPI firmware issue, the BIOS on that laptop just sucks

you can get around it by adding 8042.nopnp to GRUB_CMDLINE_DEFAULT_LINUX in /etc/default/grub
