Title. In Update Manager, I have a couple updates for various things after updating to Mint 22.3. The problem is, Wine cannot be updated. It says the package system is broken. Okay, I don't have time to deal with this right now, and I'm not using anything that uses Wine today so I'll fight with it later. Except the update manager won't let me update anything else, even when I uncheck the Wine update. It keeps giving me the Wine error and won't let me update ANYTHING. Currently I only have a couple updates pending (libpng1.6 and a thermald update) so it's not currently dire, but I worry this will continue to cause issues going forward.

when trying to update wine through the terminal, it says the ppa does not support noble... despite the fact i know i've used it when updating before. I'm uncertain how to fix this and could use some insight.

where did you get wine from

like, official wine does not have a PPA, rather a generic, version-coded APT source repository
