I have a Logitech Zone Vibe 100 and the only way I can use the mic on it is if I switch to that hands free thing and it gives me phone call level audio quality output. Now I am aware of the compromises of Bluetooth headsets don't get me wrong but I don't think using the mic would give me THAT bad audio quality, and also I was able to use the mic without issue when I had Arch on this machine.

After some tinkering I found out it shows up on Pavucontrol (and apps like Discord) but for some reason not on Mint's sound settings

#

So this is a settings bug

#

My system detects the mic just fine

#

So marking this solved now

Removing the solved tag

Why?

#

Only Discord can detect my mic

#

Audacity and OBS can't

If I try to send a voice message on Signal it does "doot doot doot doot doot"
