fresh install
specs:
msi z97 pc mate
32gb ddr3
i7 4790k
rtx 2060 super

will boot fine with igpu disabled but hangs at a black screen after mint logo with igpu enabled

Have you tried running with nomodeset in the boot commands? Is your monitor connected with displayport or HDMI?

nomodeset doesnt do anything

#

gpu connected with dvi

#

igd connected with vga

#

stuck at this stage

i think its something with the igpu drivers

ok after more investigation both gpus can run independently of each other but not together

im really at a loss here
