Hello everyone, Im quite new to cinnamon and could use some help with its window behavior. I was trying to launch a simple python file from geany. The cinnamon terminal executes the file just fine, however it keeps the terminal minimized and doesn't bring it to the forefront. It also doesn't seem to adhere to my setting for bringing new windows to the center. Any advice?

right click desktop, 'create new launcher' put the command/path in and tick 'run in terminal' and test it

When i make a launcher for geany for example geany launches in the foreground and the terminal gets centered behind it.
