Hi im tappers but yall can call me taps i recently just switched to windows to linux mint cinnamon and then i realised that most of my games dont work or run bad and then i tried to switch back to windows 11 by grabbing my brothers pc and downloading rufus and putting the iso as a mbr bootable usb and then i did bypass tpm and secure boot and make a local account after that i booted to the usb in my old pc and then installed it and its stuck in boot from usb i tried to take it out but it says reboot or change boot order i tried fixing it but didnt work please help

also i often had less issues reinstalling windows as of late by using microsoft's tool, dunno if that's useful or not, but i had some issues with rufus
you can still add manually inside the setup the bypass registry keys

or you can flash something like hiren 10

from the usb

manually purge the drive and install windows

i would also recommend if hiren doesn't work, then just switch over to using the media creation tool

or just install windows 10 then do a clean upgrade to 11, though i don't see the point of using windows 11 in it's current state especially on an unsupported pc

i wanted to buy one of those cpus for my old elitebook i've sold to fix my current thinkpad x1 😅

you could try to get another stick of ram first off and if you run on a hard disk, get an ssd

used my current desktop (had 2 hdds, an i3-2130 and 12gb of ram initially on it) and it was a pain to have any sort of os on a hard disk
even a 500gb sata ssd will speed the system up
